Schema markup is structured data you add to a page so search engines know exactly what the content is — a product with a price and availability, an article with an author and date, a business with hours and an address. It’s what makes your listing eligible for rich results: the star ratings, FAQ dropdowns, prices and event details that make a result stand out and pull more clicks. Increasingly it matters for AI answer engines too, which lean on structured signals to understand and represent your content.

This generator builds that markup as JSON-LD — the format Google recommends, because it lives in one clean block in your page’s head rather than being threaded through your HTML, which makes it far easier to add and maintain than microdata or RDFa. Pick your content type (Article, Product, Local Business, Organization, Breadcrumb, Event or FAQ), fill in what you have, and it produces valid, ready-to-paste code.
